Franziska Zahl is a curatorial assistant, project manager, and Dj. She worked for international cultural institutions such as Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary (TBA21), Vienna and for the 6th and 7th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art. She has realized various small and large-scale exhibitions, performances, concerts, and panel discussions with Ragnar Kjartansson & friends, Carsten Höller, Petrit Halilaj, Ernesto Neto, Timea Junghaus, Khaled Jarrar, Marlene Haring, Tomas Rafa, Peaches among others. Franziska studied art history, cultural studies and Italian language and literature at Leipzig University. In 2016, she founded Bureau Konkret with her partner, Juliane Prochnow.
Bureau Konkret is a Berlin based independent production bureau for cultural and commercial projects that organizes and implements individual events, exhibitions, artist commissions, and brand presentations. Bureau Konkret works for cultural institutions, private initiatives, individual artists and artists groups, commercial clients and brands.
Since 2017 Bureau Konkret is working for bauhaus imaginista. A long time collaboration exists with Deutsche Grammophon’s Yellow Lounge, staging classical concerts in international nightclubs. Past projects have been realized with Gallery Weekend Berlin, Adidas, and Bikini Berlin Concept Mall.
