Julia Jung

Project Manager

Julia Jung has a degree in Business Administration and holds an MA in Arts and Cultural Management in addition to having many years’ professional experience in the fields of project management and event planning.

Up until the end of 2017, Julia acted as project coordinator for the Münster Sculpture Project, responsible for the content and organizational planning of events and the concept and delivery of the opening day, for overseeing the construction of the project’s infrastructure as well as supporting associative partners. Prior to her time in Münster, she held a position at the Deichtorhallen in Hamburg. As project manager for the Falckenberg Collection, Julia was in charge of setting up exhibitions of work by, among others, Santiago Sierra, Gianfranco Baruchello and Philip Guston. From 2012 to 2013, she managed the Berlin studio of artist Tomás Saraceno.

Prior to this, Julia worked as interim director of the Neuen Aachener Kunstverein (NAK), Aachen, where she organized the museum’s twenty-fifth anniversary exhibition, as well as the first solo exhibition of Lena Henke. Between 2006 and 2011, she was responsible for the management of temporary exhibitions at the exhibition hall, Kunsthalle Portikus, in Frankfurt am Main.
