Linn Burchert is research assistant at the Institute for Art and Visual History of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin since 2018. In 2017/18 she completed her doctoral thesis on "The image as living space. Ecological impact concepts in abstract art, 1910–1960".
From 2008–2014 Burchert studied Studies of Comparative Literature and Art Studies (MA) and Cultural Studies and English/American Studies (BA) at Potsdam University. From 2014–2017 she was a research assistant at the chair of art history at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena.
