Ronald Nameth

Filmmaker

Ronald Nameth began working with film and photography in the 1960s, with electronic graphics and analogue video in the 1970s and digital media from the 1980s to the present. In addition to his collaboration with Andy Warhol, Nameth has also collaborated with other key figures in the arts including musical innovators and composers John Cage, Salvatore Martirano and Terry Riley, photographers Aaron Siskand and Art Sinsabauagh, dance performer Chungliang Al Haung, artist William Wegman and many other artists and performers.

His work is represented in numerous collections, including MoMA New York, Louisiana Museum of Contemporary Art, Musée d’Árt Moderne de la Ville de Paris, Centre Pompidou, MACBA, Barcelona, MUMOK, Vienna and the Indiana University Museum of Art.
