Claire Louise Staunton

Claire Louise Staunton is a researcher and curator based in London. She is currently Research Curator at MK Gallery, activist with Spectres of Modernism: Artists Against Overdevelopment, founder of the curatorial partnership Inheritance Projects and was Curator/Director of Flat Time House in London from 2011–15. Claire Louise is a recipient of an AHRC TECHNE award for her practice-based PhD in Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal College of Art where her research focuses on urban masterplanning, collaborative art practices and notions of the public. She has written on contemporary art and culture in publications such as Art Monthly, PARSE Journal, Rhizome, Frieze and has contributed to numerous exhibition catalogues.
