Ilana Tschiptschin

Ilana Tschiptschin is a Brazilian graphic designer and researcher currently based in Berlin. She holds a MSc in Architecture and Urbanism from the São Paulo University (FAU-USP) and a MSc in Design Research from the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation. She works with editorial design, visual identities, expography and sign systems and her most recent research revolves around the entanglements between Brazilian and German post-war modern movements in art, design and architecture, questioning the flow between center and periphery. Ilana’s great interest in experimental publications is reflected in her research as well as in her practice. She is a member of the editorial committee and art director of Contravento magazine.
