Hendrik von Boxberg

Press Communication

Hendrik von Boxberg is a freelance PR consultant based in Berlin. Hendrik von Boxberg (b. 1976) studied Communication Science (Publizistik/Medienwissenschaften) at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. 

 

From 2005 to 2011 he was Head of Communications at Museum Folkwang, Essen, at the time when a new building by David Chipperfield Architects opened its doors (2010), and Essen and the Ruhr area presented themselves as Ruhr.2010 – European Capitel of Culture. From 2012–2014 he was Head of PR at Ruhrtriennale – International Festival of Arts, under artistic director Heiner Goebbels, where he also supported the press relations of Urbane Künste Ruhr.

 

After moving to Berlin in 2014 he was responsible as PR freelancer for La Biennale di Venezia, Deutscher Pavillon (2015), HAU Hebbel am Ufer: Tanz im August – Internationales Festival Berlin (2015-today), KunstFestSpiele Herrenhausen (2015-today) or the Biennale für aktuelle Fotografie (2017) among many other projects and clients.

 

2017 he joined the bauhaus imaginista team.
